RE-INTRODUCING
TEAM
SEITAKUKAI
In tribute to Ichiro Ogimura’s club TEAM SEITAKUKAI, champions of the 1982 All Japan Club Championships in Nagano, Koyo Bear releases a first small series of apparel pieces that bring the history of the legendary club back into daily wear.
Each style in the line carries the original club colors and logotype, preserved with archival precision. Built as a bridge between past and present, TEAM SEITAKUKAI celebrates the golden age of Japanese table tennis and carries forward Ogimura’s spirit to the world.
Founded in 1952 by Ichiro Ogimura, the Seitakukai Club (which translates to “Blue Table Club”) laid the foundation for what is now the ITS club in Mitaka, Tokyo. For decades, the club has served as a training ground for table tennis enthusiasts and professionals from around the world. International top players and world champions trained under Ogimura and refined their skills there. The club moved to Mitaka in the mid-1980s from its original base in Musashino, Tokyo and officially adopted the name ITS in 1988.
