The Secret of Your Nice Footwork

Established in 1952 in Kobe, Japan, Koyo Bear created the first purpose-built table tennis shoe—the Sharpman—developed with 12-time World Champion Ichiro Ogimura. Today, Koyo Bear is known for handmade, vulcanized footwear, produced in small batches using traditional Japanese manufacturing methods.

1952年に神戸で創業したコーヨーベアーは、12度の世界チャンピオンに輝いた荻村伊智朗と共に開発した世界初の卓球専用シューズ「シャープマン」を生み出しました。 今日、コーヨーベアーは伝統的な日本式の製造方法を用いてハンドメイドにより少量生産される、バルカナイズ製法のフットウェアで知られています。
